Like all states, Wisconsin has a sizeable health care network. One thing that is common to all states in the union is that people get sick. When they do, there is money to be made. Although we'd like to think that our area hospitals and clinics are around to help us get healthy, we have to realize that their main goal is to turn a profit. The benefit to a hospital's profit motive is that healthcare services are provided wherever there is a population to support them.
